Yes, you can deliver alcohol to your customers through Sherpa.
If you are using Sherpa to deliver alcohol to your customers, be sure to select the alcohol checkbox when logging the delivery. This not only notifies our drivers that the delivery contains alcohol but also triggers the correct Sherpa process for alcohol deliveries.
To ensure we meet the liquor laws in our operating cities, we have a number of strict policies in place. These include delivering only to the intended recipient, checking the ID of the recipient to ensure they're over 18 years old, confirm the recipient is not intoxicated, and not leaving alcohol unattended at a delivery address.
Please note if any of the below occur at the time of attempted delivery, a booking will be made by the Sherpa driver for the alcohol to be returned to the pickup address:
- The intended recipient is not available
- The intended recipient is under the age of 18
- The intended recipient is already intoxicated
- No one is available to accept the delivery
