Shopify - Sherpa rates not showing up on checkout

If you're not seeing Sherpa's delivery rates on the checkout page, this could be due to a few different reasons. 

 

Sherpa is not set up as a carrier

Sherpa's delivery rates will be displayed on checkout only if it is added as a "carrier" in your Shopify shipping profile. This happens automatically when you install and enable the Sherpa app, but may be worth double-checking if you're having trouble displaying Sherpa's delivery rates in the checkout page.

  1. Go to Shopify Settings > Shipping and Delivery.

  2. In the Shipping section, click on 'Manage Rates'.

  3. For each shipping zone, under 'Carrier and app rates', see if Sherpa is listed as a carrier.

  4. If Sherpa is not displayed, you will need to add it manually.
    • Click Add rate.
    • Select 'Use carrier or app to calculate rates'.
    • Select Sherpa from the dropdown.

    • Click 'Done' to close the popup. The Sherpa option should be displayed in the list now.

  5. Click 'Save' to save your changes.

 

Sherpa app is not enabled

Sherpa's delivery rates will be displayed on checkout only if the Sherpa app is enabled. 

  1. Under the Settings section in the Sherpa app, click on ‘Manage Settings’.

  2. Under the 'Delivery Rates' section, make sure the Sherpa Shipping setting is enabled.

  3. Click 'Save Settings' to save your changes.

 

No delivery options are enabled

You will need to select at least one delivery option to have it displayed to your customer on checkout. 

  1. Under the Settings section in the Sherpa app, click on ‘Manage Settings’.

  2. Under the 'Delivery Options' section, select one or more delivery options.

  3. Click 'Save Settings' to save your changes.
