Shopify - Blockout Dates

As of week ending 9/4/2021, when you are using the Delivery Date Selector on your store, you will be able to enter specific blockout dates that you will not offer delivery.

These dates will override your standard business delivery days so you can set them in confidence, knowing that deliveries cannot be scheduled on those days. 

This allows you to manage your delivery offerings over public holidays and dates you know you will not be offering delivery.


Using Blockout Dates

  1. From your Shopify admin dashboard, select 'Apps'

  2. Select 'Sherpa Delivery'

  3. Select 'Manage Settings'

  4. Scroll down to Delivery date selection

  5. Select 'Enable Calendar'

  6. Set your Calendar Window

  7. Under Blockout Dates, click in the input field to reveal a calendar

  8. Select a date you will not offer delivery and click the '+' button

  9. Repeat for other dates
