How do I get notified of the progress of my deliveries?

At Sherpa, we understand the importance of keeping you informed about your account and deliveries in the way that suits you best. Our notification centre allows you to customize your notification preferences for a more personalized experience. Follow the steps below to manage your notification settings for account information, delivery status updates, and delivery information.


Accessing the Notification Centre

  1. Log in to your Sherpa account: Visit our website and log in using your credentials.
  2. Navigate to the Notification Centre: Once logged in, go to the settings menu Screenshot 2024-07-11 at 10.27.13 am.png (located at the top right corner of the page) and select the "Notifications" tab.

Managing Notification Preferences

In the Notification Centre, you will find settings for the following categories:

1. Account Information

Receive updates when you incur an additional fee or charge.

2. Delivery Status Updates

Get real-time updates on the status of your deliveries. Flip the toggle Screenshot 2024-07-11 at 10.37.15 am.png to customise which stages you want to be notified about.

3. Delivery Information

Get notified if a delivery is outside of service hours or area or if there's a chance of a delivery running late.


Notification Types

  • If you log deliveries via the web portal, you will receive notifications over email.
  • If you log deliveries via the mobile app, you will receive push notifications.
  • If you log deliveries via the API (i.e. an integration between your order management system / online store and the Sherpa platform), you will receive notifications through the webhook.


Saving Your Preferences

Once you have customised your notification preferences:

  1. Review your selections to ensure they are accurate.
  2. Click the "Update" button at the top right corner of the page to apply your changes.


Additional Tips

  • Check your spam/junk folder: If you are not receiving emails, make sure they are not being filtered into your spam or junk folder.
  • Update contact information: Ensure that your email address and phone number are up to date in your account settings to receive notifications.
  • Review periodically: We recommend reviewing your notification preferences periodically to ensure they continue to meet your needs.
