Will I be charged for a return and redelivery if the Sherpa driver is not at fault?
Yes, you will be charged for a return and redelivery unless the Sherpa driver is at fault.

Under what circumstances will a Sherpa driver attempt to log a return or redelivery?
A Sherpa driver will attempt to log a return or redelivery in the following situations:

  1. Recipient Unavailable (ATL marked): If the recipient is unavailable and you have marked "Authority to Leave" (ATL), the driver will assess if there is a safe place to leave the item. If no safe place is found, the driver will contact you to seek permission to book a return or redelivery.

  2. Recipient Unavailable (ATL not marked): If the recipient is unavailable and ATL is not marked, the driver will contact you to ask for permission to book a return or redelivery.

  3. Delivering Alcohol/Tobacco: If the items include alcohol and/or tobacco and:

    • The recipient is under 18 years of age.
    • The recipient is intoxicated.
    • The recipient is unavailable.
  4. Incorrect Delivery Information: If the delivery information provided is incorrect.

  5. Wrong Driver Pickup: If the item is handed over to the wrong Sherpa driver (i.e., not the one assigned to the specific job).

What happens if the Sherpa driver picks up the wrong item?
If the Sherpa driver picks up the wrong item, you will not be charged for the return or redelivery, as the driver is at fault.
