What does incorrect or insufficient address details mean? How do I fix it?

  • Updated

An incorrect or insufficient address error means our systems couldn't identify a matching pick-up or delivery address based on the details provided. Here’s how you can resolve this based on the stage of your delivery:

If Delivery Is Not Yet Assigned:

  1. Visit https://deliveries.sherpa.net.au/users/reports/current_deliveries.
  2. Log in and navigate to 'Current Deliveries'.
  3. Update the address details for either pick-up or drop-off locations.
  4. The delivery charges will be recalculated based on the new delivery distance.

If Delivery Is Assigned but Not Yet Picked Up:

  1. Contact Sherpa Support immediately via chat.
  2. Request an agent to update the address details for you.
  3. The delivery charges will be recalculated based on the new delivery distance.

If the Driver Arrives at an Incorrect Pick-Up Address:

  • The delivery will need to be rebooked.
  • You will be charged 70% of the original delivery fee, plus 100% of the fee for the new rebooked delivery.

If the Driver Arrives at an Incorrect Delivery Address:

  • The delivery will be canceled, and redelivery will be automatically booked.
  • You will be charged 100% of the original delivery fee, plus 100% of the fee for the new rebooked delivery.

If Items Are Delivered to an Incorrect Address:

  • If the driver delivers items to an incorrectly logged delivery location, Sherpa is not responsible for any missing items.
  • You will be charged 100% of the original delivery fee.

By following these steps and contacting Sherpa Support when necessary, you can ensure accurate address details and smooth delivery operations for your orders.
