How are Sherpa Drivers Assigned to Your Delivery?

  • Updated

How does Sherpa's crowd-sourced model operate?

Sherpa operates under a crowd-sourced model. This means we have a large number of drivers who contract to us and work the hours that suit them best.

How are drivers assigned to deliveries?

When a delivery is booked by a customer, the job first opens to drivers closest to the pick-up point. This is to ensure a faster pick-up and means drivers aren't having to travel across the city! The longer the delivery is open, the wider the radius of drivers who can see the delivery becomes. This means we have a greater ability to match your delivery with a driver!

How are high-rated drivers prioritised?

We also provide our highest rated drivers with early access to particular jobs. This ensures our top drivers are given first preference to your delivery, ensuring that we do our best to provide you with the best drivers in the Sherpa community.
