What is the Bundling Discount and how does it work?
The Bundling Discount applies when we combine 5 or more deliveries into a single route with one driver, achieving efficiencies. This results in a discount of 10% on your total delivery cost.
Am I eligible for the Bundling Discount?
You are eligible if we can bundle your deliveries together with the same driver.
However, bulk-rate customers and enterprise customers under custom pricing agreements are exceptions and do not qualify for this discount.
How do you determine which jobs get bundled together?
We use advanced routing technology to decide which deliveries can be grouped together efficiently. Factors considered include delivery timeframes, locations, vehicle types, item quantity, and order weight. Please note that we do not guarantee bundling and cannot apply discounts retroactively.
Why did I receive a discount last time, but not this time?
The ability to bundle deliveries with the same driver depends on various factors. If we cannot group your jobs together, the bundling discount will not apply.
How will I know whether a discount was applied?
You can check your delivery history by exporting the CSV file. Look for the "Bundling_Discount_User" column to see if your deliveries received the discount. The Run ID in the CSV file confirms if your deliveries were successfully bundled.
What can I do to increase the chances of my jobs being bundled together?
To enhance the likelihood of our system grouping your deliveries:
- Log deliveries with the same "item ready at" time or within the same delivery window.
- Use consistent delivery propositions for all your deliveries.
- While it's not always controllable, deliveries heading in a similar direction are more likely to be grouped together.
Important things to note:
- Bundling of deliveries is not guaranteed and depends on factors such as weather, driver availability, and special events.
- Any edits made to deliveries after runs are created may void the bundling discount.
